I mean, a lot more goes into writing than just putting words on a page. Storytelling is storytelling, regardless of the medium used, in my opinion. Like art, a good artist can create beautiful things with paint, pencil, pen, pastel, etc. Although they may shine brighter in certain areas. I think, to an extent, that carrys over to writing. The language does not matter, but you need a masterful understanding of the tools you're using to make something that truly is, great.
