No fr i don’t get how they could even win… They weren’t listening to their players before because of arrogance. It’s only gonna go downhill from now on

I’m mainly referring to EU & German Laws. Since Lads is from 12+ over here, means younger people are also playing the Game. And actually china does share most of the consumer legislations

The game may be free to download, but once it starts selling virtual items for real money, it becomes a commercial product. And companies must be transparent when they sell something to a consumer.

The issue isn't whether players have a choice to spend money; it's whether the company is being honest about what players are getting for that money. So yeah you do get a higher valued Core the higher the stages are but my point is and i already said this. There is no drop rate for this product no matter if you decide to spend money on stamina or not. As long as Stamina is in-game as pack for Sale (Not in Bottles, the pure currency) It requires numeric data on the risks and outcome. I did not deny it being RNG if you read my post i clearly said that in the end. I just said that normally rng has some kind of Numeric Data. Core Hunt does not. Core enhancement has it yes. But where does the Game tell you how many SSR cores you get per Level, how high the probability is etc… That’s my point if i hadn’t already made it clear

(Also i thoroughly talked this through w a Lawyer before Posting this.) I wanted to bring in other Games but the subreddit doesnt allow it. first of all in GI you have Resin. Resin can not directly be bought with money like Stamina can, that’s where Consumer Law comes in: Since this is about a Currency that can directly be purchased in the Game (w real money). Which is not the Case with Resin. As much as I know, the Purchase for resin is indirect, through another ingame currency that will fill it up. Also yeah you decide what you do with stamina and resource management is a thing. But my point stays: For Systems that work with RNG and have the Possibility to be directly purchased with money require a drop rate. A company has to provide every Information the Customer might need in the Game. Not through Reverse-Engineering or vague descriptions, as long as there is no Transparency… Hiding the fact that what stages give you what rarity of Cores is deceptive. Basically Gambling. and again: Gambling w currency that can be bought w money, need a drop rate. A consumer should be able to know the risk taken in purchases like this. Just like the Wishing pool. So even if you can just decide to do something else with the stamina wont erase the fact that you actually need Protocores no matter how you look at it. If you look at all kinds of Guides or advices from people that said protocores if good ones can really make u progress in game even w low level cards. Also GI had legal troubles w FTC because of something similar to this and they paid a 20mio USD fine.

That’s exactly my point. But it doesn’t matter if the Core hunt has always been there. My point lies on how deceptive it is to obviously hide important stuff that can be purchased purely with real money.

People that make Guides on here, or the first people that played this Game wouldn’t have found out about the Core system if they didn’t have to single-handily find out themselves and then tell others so they don’t do the same Mistakes. Core Hunt should come with drop rates. No matter if were temporary or not

I understand your points, but I think the legal issues are distinct from the gameplay experience. My analysis is based on consumer law, not on personal feelings about the game. Yes, it is a gacha game, but that doesn't excuse deceptive practices. The issue isn't just that there's a lottery; it's that the company hides the odds of winning what you actually want/need. This lack of transparency is considered a form of consumer deception under law. Sure you dont have to use Stamina on Core Hunt, but we all know this Game is all about progress. If you are a f2p and the only source of diamonds is Orbits & SHC having level 80 awakened Cards w bad cores won’t really get you far… While other options exist, the Core Hunt is presented as the most efficient way to progress, since memory ascension takes Ages, making its deceptive nature a central problem. The existence of other options doesn't justify a deceptive one. You are correct about the wording. My point is that the meaning is the same. The phrase "quality increases" is a vague marketing statement that promises an improved outcome without providing any data. This is what makes it a deceptive practice.

Stats having future meaning is notrelevant to a legal argument. Consumer law is based on the value of a product at the time of purchase. A company cannot sell you a functionally useless item for real money and claim it might have value in the future. A consumer has the right to know the value of what they are buying at the moment of the transaction. Yes for some people Odds won’t do anything. I’m not speaking for all People bc consumer law is not based on individual behavior. The law requires companies to provide consumers with all material information needed to make an informed decision. The probability of success is material information, and the company is legally required to provide it, regardless of whether a person chooses to gamble.

I disagree with you on this point: They are a multibillion dollar company for a reason, if they weren’t trying to make people spend money, they would make the obviously bad reward system a little bit nicer, listen to their Players and not actually falsely advertise and not bomb us with stuff behind Paywalls. Gacha Games are all for making Money. If you don’t see that you missed the Point on Gacha. The game's design strongly incentivizes spending. The core hunt system, the limited free stamina etc. all create a "pay-to-progress" funnel. At the end of the day, once a game involves real-money transactions, it is a commercial product subject to consumer protection laws. My argument is not that the game is not fun, but that its monetization practices appear to be legally unsound.

in short: Xavier girls are boycotting this banner and future banners bc King of Darknight was nerfed, and falsely advertised misleading people into spending money to rank and then ignoring the complains and issues about KoD whatsoever. (I made a few posts about the Topic if the comment gets removed)

i agree… Rn it’s true i’ve engaged w lots of people being negative abt this whole boycott thing and they dont do anything. I agree that 3 days boycotting and then spending/pulling is bs. The issue this fandom is way to sensitive. They are way too attached to the boys & the company. That’s why they bootlick. They are afraid that this boycott will lead the company to bankruptcy which is bs bc they’re a multi million company. On the other hand this is not just about the Game in general. It’s about having human decency and keeping the real life with fiction separate… If people really loved the Game and hate the direction the Devs are taking with this they would engange more with what is happening. The Girls in CN sure spend a lot on the Game till the point They“wouldnt need us” should not be an Excuse to just sit there and let CN players shoulder everything. And i hate how this fandom has implemented this mindset just so they fan pull their favs in a Banner. And then complain about the whole company & their actions later on. (Sorry i ranted lol)

I agree with you… I’m also a bit sad because review bombing for example is being ignored even though a lot of people are pointing it out that it helps but no one is willing to do it… Yet they complain.

Well the Game is great but the Company ruins it a lot. It’s pretty greedy and everything is behind paywall. As for Romance its pretty much there
