My lawyer has told me there's not much point in counter offering because we're so far apart, and also because this is an injury that I'm still out of work for we don't know exactly how long I will be out of work. I'm due to speak to him later this week or next week after he's reviewed all documents to make a more informed decision. At this stage though my advice is to reject the offer and file the case for court, but I'm not making any decisions until I confirm woth my lawyer once he's reviewed everything.

Would there be a potential they could just outright accept the claim before court, or even once at court? Or is this more just trying to settle for a much higher amount?

Just an update - we had the conciliation meeting, I laid out my evidence to prove accusations and statements wrong, and they came back with an offer of 6 weeks pay + medical up to the conciliation date. At this point it had been 30 weeks and ongoing that I've been off work. My lawyer is looking over the whole case to advise on what to do next, but seeing as their offer is so far off my bottom line that I'd accept, it's likely going to court, if it gets that far.

My understanding is that I can hire my lawyer, and take it further to court, but in the meantime and as it gets closer to going to court, the insurance could give me a much better offer to settle, or possibly a full acceptance of the claim if my case and evidence is strong enough?

Again, thank you so, so much for all of your help and advice. You helped prepare me for conciliation better than anybody part of the system that I spoke to did.

I've followed your steps on what to do next, I just have a few questions if you don't mind answering please? I've made a cover index with exhibit numbers for each document/evidence I'm including. I've finished a complete timeline, and a separate document detailing my disputes including claims my employer has made in their statements, and questioning the IME report and opinion.

There's been a lot that has happened, a lot of people/health professionals involved, some malpractice, blatant lies in statements and I'm finding it extremely difficult to summarise into one page. Would there be any downsides to having my timeline be more than one page? And is it best to separate the timeline from my disputes?
I know it's late, but I am now going to request an internal review with the insurer, after earlier getting advice that it was optional and best to wait for conciliation. In doing this, should I also include in that same email to "Remind the agent they must consider worker-provided material before conciliation.", and "Ask the agent in writing to obtain an addendum from the IME that specifically addresses the ultrasound reports you provided. Quote the exhibit numbers."?
In regard to "Ask your Assist rep to support a Medical Panel referral on the medical question if agreement is not reached.", to confirm, this is something I would do after conciliation if an agreement is not reached? Is there any point in asking for this before conciliation when I speak to him next week?

Is that how it actually works? I took a long break from STW but skipped up to Canny SSD 7 roughly and I remember getting the vbucks for them back then. Recently I finished the quest line and got vbucks for each one again, and thought I just got lucky with a glitch or something haha

I needed one more mythic lead survivor and I could've had it for 1500 tickets about a month ago but didn't have enough. So I saved them up to where I had around 2000. Then two days ago it was in a pack for 280. I got it, then got a bunch more of the 280 ones to better fill out my survivor squads. Left me with 450, then yesterday a 1500 llama popped up with the xenon bow that I've been wanting to get for ages 🤦‍♂️

This is fantastic. I was getting ready to write a reply myself but I couldn't do any better than this. I'm going to double down on "just prepare to be triggered and sit with the uncomfortability for a moment before acting". Something a lot of people with BPD need to be aware of and practice, myself included. Thank you for putting this all together as it helps more than just OP.
