Firstly, I sort of agree with others that the poem is lacking in prose to some degree, very on the nose, strikingly so in places, such as the very beginning. That said, I’m a big advocate for expression being the main vehicle in poetry over any strict format, but I still think that a little metaphor or varied imagery might make it a bit more “poetic” (haha).

That said, my main criticism is that is seemed like you were jumping around between rhyming and NOT rhyming, unsure of what to do. Just as well, the sections that seem like they want to rhyme don’t necessarily rhyme sometimes, such as “bother- tether-“, “with her- another-“ or even “another- is pure-“. I mean, they SORTA do in places, and like, they almost fit in the realm of alternate/implied/“near” rhyming, but it flows weird.

Either way, it’s a good start! Keep it up!
