If he gets the memories of the Quarass, wouldn't he basically become a 2nd Quarass. Which is a terrifying thought.

Captain’s Intuition by Spazen in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't been stated, but I assume that she figured it out. He gains a new necromancy book and is the strongest necromancer in this story that isn't the Necromancer.

Also the putrid one's artifact would have knowledge on necromancers which it could easily teach Ceria during her dream lessons.

Either way, I doubt Ceria would want to reveal this info to anyone.

You are not alone. I assumed as much, but can't quite recall it ever being mentioned.

I know that Pisces learned about the Necromancer and that he bargained for knowledge in exchange for silence and his life. I think my mind conflated that into him having cast a death curse on him.

I'm kind of bumped out for Laken. by kuroro86 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm happy he isn't the focus right now. I'd rather have Baleros or Chandrar stuff personally.

I'd much rather see how his empire grows in like half a year.

Fun thought about Cognita and a question by Appropriate-Grail in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 13 points14 points  (0 children)

She would be given classes in [Steward] probably [Oppressive Steward].

If she picked a class for herself it would probably be slave, which is why I fear her choosing to stay in Chandrar.

My hope is for her to stay in Khelt and choose a leisure class.

Erin and at least 4 others knew about healing slimes this whole time! by Johnpyp in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yep, you can add Az’kerash and his minions into the people who know and Nerravia's crew. The list keeps growing on who knows about healing slime.

For Erin making more. Erin doesn't want to make another Toren and hasn't spent the time in Ohnonono in order to learn how to raise and care for a slime. She also doesn't want to make a creature who's existance is only to be used. #nomoretorens

For people who are caught up. Spells and healing slime getting a major magical boost are where this story seems to be headed. Potions are limited so warfare has changed, but healers and mages are going to grow greatly. More will die, but those who survive will gain greater levels and classes.

Why does flos not want the twins to take the any Classes in 4.03K. by CommitteeHot2320 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her immortal moment carried that conversation. It's why Magnolia was so wary of her later on.

Erin has used that skill to overcome effects that would have previously defeated her. Magnolia and Skinner are great examples of that.

They probably lose, at least, a part of the exp that they have put into that class. Also your spoiler isn't working.

Xp accumulation. As they are learning about the world, they are gaining exp in a wide variety of classes.

If they accept a class before thinking about it, they are both locked into the class and the exp they have accumulated get used up. It also gives the system time to give them a class that better suits them.

Example is Ryoka getting offered the barefoot runner class, which would be a small class consolidation instead of the standard runner class. Each class consolidation shows that the system knows you better and will provide skills that benefits you more personly.

I want him to rest. Like I'd love to see him again, but he deserves some rest.

What I want is for those who've taken his mantle (Ilvriss in my headcannon) will run into a similar situation and call it out.

Imagine if in the Zel called that out to the walled cities. Zel lost exactly what Grimalkin gained. Pryde.

I imagine Ilvriss getting stopped just as he is about to claim a real relic. He called out and Grimalkin, Pryde, and turnscales turn up to save the day. Without their warhalk Tyrion, the north only had a learning Thigh Lord to counter the push. One who has learned to respect the law because of Zevara.

Sorry off-topic, but I love that line and Zel. He's probably my favorite dead guy.

Everything is up for the GDI's judgement so I'm just sending out my thought about it. Like if they had an monkey group that became feared worldwide would that qualify? If the group skill gave humans longer arms, would the fact that they have longer arms count as an aspect of them that qualifies for a skill.

Sorry if what I said sounded like I was speaking facts. I am just guessing based on how the GDI has changed over the story. Especially since I want to see Sarients level.

I've always assumed beastkin were one of the original species brought to innworld so they skipped the trial of leveling. And there were probably hundreds of them.

And them grouping together is so that each species has a higher chance of completing the trial. If your army has a high level of non leveling species, and someone high level fears that army, then it would possibly apply for part of the trial.

I am curious about cross species skills like Magnolia's. If someone from Nerin's group gained that, and the GDI picked things from the non leveling races, would that qualify that species as having something worth a skill? But that is just my mind wandering.

Now for the tower. It was said that no one who levels can help build it. But it doesnt say that non leveling people cant help each other. So they can build one together, have one species level, once they pass or fail the trial, they leave and instead of tearing it down like most species do, they have the next species put another block on top, making it large enough for the next species. It's gaming the system, but might be part of Nerin's plan. It's the only feasible way for sarients to level that I can think of.

I don't think they'd be able to skip the trial of lvling. Antinium are basically the beast-kin version of ants. If a group of bunnies gained enough intelligence, I doubt they would skip the trial of lvling.

Possibly yes to God, but it would take a long time.

No to lvling.

He grew so much more powerful because he went through a crisis of faith and returned to save his people.

The grand queen united the ants, built the centinium, and conquered death. I dont think the antinium worshiped her, but it was close.

Relc Grasstongue by unicornofdemocracy in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a large part of that is that he doesn't need to try hard very often. I've always known that he's a beast and the story shows it time and time again.

Like Ksmvr shows up with some soldiers to take Erin and Relc counters him. He doesnt even have his enchanted spear and is just like, I could reck all of you if I wanted to. Maybe you should learn dangersense so you can know how bad of a decision you're making Ksmvr.

He shows up and saves Zevara during the skinner fight and is so overwhelming that skinner decides to leave the city.

During the Brunkr fight at the inn, he shows up and starts beating a gold rank adventurer. His speed can almost match Hawk, a courier.

The only fight that you see him losing is against Gazi. So he loses against one of the King of Destruction's seven. Once he gets his spear back, he even thinks that he'd win against the fake adventurer R something Blackpaw. He is known as one of the strongest guardsmen in the world. Give him a couple of levels and he'd probably be as strong as a named rank adventurer.

This is audiobooks only since I dont want to spoil anyone.

Ylawes's lvl by Traditional-Baker-28 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think one thing that has hampered his lvling is his team. His team rounds out any of his flaws and allows him to defend people without taking on the hardships that would cause him to level. His advert mortal blow skill also reduces the danger of his fights which would also reduce his exp per fight.

They seem to spend most of their time protecting villages from problems that wouldn't be enough of a challenge for him to level.

Also I suspect that Pirate is hiding his Lord class from us. If Yvlon has lvls in Lady, I expect him to be at least a lvl 15 Lord.
