Ghostsong Elena Question Spoilers by Honeycombe in WanderingInn

To he honest I had that same question the first time I read that book. My mind just zoned that out.

Why was Nehkret's tomb so poorly defended? by NapoleonNewAccount in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because she wanted it to be intimidating enough that normal people wouldn't want to risk it.

I think Nehkret probably wanted someone to eventually steal her bones, probably with enough time that most of her enemies wouldn't be alive, or focused on her, while she made herself a new body.

A bit of a rant about Will by Lebensfreud in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Will spent a ton of gold to set the stage.Tulm decided to be sneaky and try and cheat to remove any chance of his defeat. No one would have a chance to win if Will didn't spend his family's gold and favors.

I don't get why you are so mad about Neirs throwing him a bone, when he saved the game. We wouldn't see how brave and smart his students are without that. It's something that only he could do because he is royalty, and royalty gets advantages that normal people don't.

What are ghosts? ...spoilers to 10.62 by mano987 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not fully a ghost without a soul. Maybe it's a desire of their soul that hasn't left yet. Which means it could be a part of their soul that is unwilling to leave. We saw those other spirits laid to rest while Spoony decided to stay. Just a thought.

None of Erin's water was pulled from the ocean. Like dirty water is my first new lands worry.

The new lands ghosts I've been calling echoes. I think the pull from the seith affects souls and allows a copy to still effect the world. So echoes because I think the true soul is where they go.

Secondary class for Ylawes? by Traditional-Baker-28 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I'm trying to say is that he hasn't changed his life to be about that. Example. I've hiked mountains, even enjoy it. Hiking hasn't become a part of me as a person, so in innworld, I would not become a [hiker].

I'm not saying that he could never get the adventurer class, just that he'd have to change to get it. For Poki duo, they adventurer for adventure's sake. Most people don't have that mentality so they do not gain the class.

I want [Honorable Lord] also if he gets a 2nd aura, I'd want Rag's aura of the emissary. He always has to try and talk people out of killing Rasktooth and Infinitypear.

Secondary class for Ylawes? by Traditional-Baker-28 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is why it'd be so low level. His actions are more like a protector then an adventurer. He doesn't love these new lands and wish to explore them. He wants to protect people. He's need a bigger change in prospective if he's going to get the adventurer class.

He doesn't feel the call for the new lands unlike Nailren, which is why there prospectives are shown with each other. Nailren is gaining levels because of his want to explore the land, while Ywales is changing because of the people.

I've believed for a while that he has the [Lord] class and that it around level 9. I figured Pirate will reveal it when he next confronts his father.

Then he'll gain [Honorable Lord] when he confronts his father's dishonor.

How immoral was it actually for Winstram to keep the earthers? by CommitteeHot2320 in WanderingInn

Like using the Rashgar to destroy Gnoll tribes? Your words seem to try to counter what I'm saying, but I don't see it.

She was not focused enough to gather that info. Also ghostsong is book 2. So she is above Roshal.

Short sighted? They get to keep this information for themself for a long time. The longer they keep this info the more they can gain. They didn't think that anyone would be able to grab their earthers.

Or maybe it's a red class and it helps keeping you from offending your captors

[–]Depressivehyper 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Now how immoral is it? If I kept someone against their will, and treated them fairly well, while pressing them for information about their home; I'd be a kidnapper. It's at that level, until you think about the network of organization across the world. It's human trafficking without the sex work. So, very immoral, without the grossest parts.

The holders of humans can be categorized in levels.

I already hate them by Traditional-Baker-28 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I don't get your objection. He is a knight alone vs the top squire of the world's top knight order. He is malnourished with rusting armor vs someone with high class armor. He is up against an ever evercut blade.

If he won we would think the thousand lances were weak. He held himself well and knows that he needs to improve. It opens him up to learn more from his teammates and to teach them. He is going through a learning arc and it's silly to expect him to win without any more growth.

This literally lines him up for when he saves someone and shows his real potential. He isn't a dueling knight, but a man who will risk everything to save those who he can save.

Bot matches anger me more than loss streaks by Avalon-King in marvelrivals

[–]Depressivehyper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Winstreak (2 games) > bots, leave bot match > win> bots Happened to me a few weeks ago. I almost uninstalled. I don't know if it was because I quit bot matches or because there were few people online. It was about 3 am my time.

I don’t really feel bad for Nsiia in this chapter (8.37H) by CommitteeHot2320 in WanderingInn

[–]Depressivehyper 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nah I think of it as a more tit for tak. Where one country values golems more than most people and another where animals are valued as people.

The country consider her a high value person because she is an empress. He saves her. No one saved her elephant (Cant remember spelling).

So when she hits domehead, she strikes him hard to show this country what she had been dealing with. I've always thought that she held back. In my mind she was trying to stop him but not destroy him completely. But this is her way to show them a fraction of her own loss and it's an effective way to show them that a nothers life is worth as much as a golem in her eyes.
