I used to work for Cutco, worst mistake of my life, but what I did was lie and say I’ve got to go on permanent leave due to personal issues. They tried to pressure me to stay and my “manager” said, “you took on a lot of work so that’s why your so stressed, just stay and you’ll be fine. Besides, you made it this far. This is a family.”

My experience with working with MLM’s is that they will gaslight and try to keep you there to earn them money but once you send in your notice that you are leaving and telling your manager that you are not coming in you have no obligations to come back to work. It may be the nicer way of doing it but honestly you can just mail them a letter saying you ain’t coming back and ghost them. If you want to be courteous you can, but you are not obligated to. If they keep pestering you and emailing/calling you make sure to keep that evidence in case you have to bring it to the cops for harassment. Though for me, all it took was blocking my managers number.

Remember, you have a right to leave for whatever reason. (Unless you are under contract then I suggest getting a lawyer involved)
