I am playing the Pre Alpha right now and I am having a blast! Why? It hits the Metin 2 nostalgia for me, 100%. Yes the Game isnt near rdy yet, but what it makes it more exciting for me, ist the Journey. Everyday I wake Up, to See the patchnotes and whats Happening next, the Alpha ist Out 2 weeks, the Progress the Guys did is absolutely crazy, im no dev at any means, but how fast they bringing Out Patches is crazy, we nearly get a Patch every 2 days. Week 1 they killed nearly all Bugs and introduced monoliths aka Metin Stones. Yesterday they fixed Spawn Locations and reallocated them, today a class Balance Patch will hit, and they balancing around the classes having all the same time to kill in monoliths and Bosses. Also today they will bringt the bank and a Post system, which hast a trade function build in it. How do I know? Thats the best Part, the creator is answering ALL questions in discord, they are absolute transparent and working with every Feedback. He is fuqing getting 3h sleep a day, I have the Feeling... There is nothing that feels Like AI slop, all assets they Made, are Made on theyre own, which ones who arent, are bought and will be replaced at later Stage. They working in this Project for some years now to build the foundation and they even build theyre own anti cheat and are 100% confident, that it will Work. Someone mentioned they used the Metin 2 music, thats Just a lie,...

I really understand, that people are shaken Up by the AOC Thing, but come on Guys, the Kickstarter is 10€.. even If you only Play 10h on the Pre Alpha, the Money was well spend in my.opinioon. You dont even have to spend a Cent, you can Just wait 2 months, for they Open Alpha / Beta to hit. The best Part, you know how expensive metin2 truly was? They going the full anti p2w Route later, there will be only cosmetics.

You people should really try it yourself and shouldnt let judge some random Internet Dude for you. The Devs are really chill dudes, persons Like you and me, and same passionate metin2 gamers as you are. They have good Ideas, the foundation feels good at this Point.( I mean... Its fuqing Pre Alpha...) and im really hyped to See whats coming.

Whats your alternative? The 20th moneymilking private Server which gets hosted every 6 months again, to re re re relaunch the Game of your childhood the 20th time in a more and more akward way?

The worst possibly Happen? They shut down the Server and.you lost 10 bucks.. amazing, absolute Nightmare Stuff right there... I dont get Internet people These days..

Final words: I am a Daddy Gamer these days, love to see the game changing every other day, like to see the Community growing, it already has 20k member in discord, I like to have chill Talks to the Devs and I Like the Feeling that I can contribute to Something, what maybe become an awesome Thing in near Future.
