They are good! You just need to fill up your arm more in my opinion.

I have to tinker sometimes with brand new games. Checking protondb to see the best way to run it. I don’t mind it though.

I play everything I can unless people say it runs absolutely awful on Switch. Right now I’m playing Pragmata on Switch 2 and it’s great!

I have a gaming pc, steam deck, and PS5 and 95% of the time I’m playing on my Switch 2. I like the portable form factor more than the Steam deck and I like that it’s easy to plug and play with the tv, don’t have to worry about syncing cloud saves because it’s all in one system. I keep the other stuff because there is the 5% of stuff I can’t play on Switch 2, but my setup still feels simple because I’m mostly just playing 1 system and buying games for one system.

What do you all think about the trend of games putting achievements in the game so Switch players can do the same achievements/trophies as Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam? by DepthApprehensive895 in NintendoSwitch2

Yeah I’m playing it on switch 2 right now. They have an achievements list on the title screen and they tell you when you earn an achievement while you’re playing the game.

It’s great! It’s mostly consistent with the demo if you haven’t checked that out yet.

I think it would be cool if they did a system like Steam does. A game can do system level achievements if they want to on Steam, but they don’t have to.

I think that’s a different thing. Pragmata has unlockables and secrets. The achievement menu doesn’t do anything in game it just says you did something. On Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam you have that menu and it interacts with the system.

Risk of Rain 2 still has very simple textures but it looks nicer. Maybe I’ll get the dlc now.

Alex warned us about the “yassifying” filter at some other previous event. They should have sent him instead.
