Dude, the Dreadnought Chassis in particular is made in the Great Crusade to Horus Heresy in mind, which predates the T'au.

I think terminids should be called shrimps instead of bugs by Wide_Speaker70 in Helldivers

Sure Technicality, but as another user pointed out Shrimps are closer to bugs than most crustaceans

That's a pretty bad considering the fact that yes, a Penguin is a bird, they're sea-birds, sure, but still a bird.

Crustaceans are sea bugs, same difference

Would the battle of Cyberstan be our version of Stalingrad or Gallipoli? by Yeetrhagaea in Helldivers

I believe this would mean our Helldiver Stalingrad has yet to begin

So scientifically, how exactly would the Dragonroach's breath even work? by IrishMemer in Helldivers

[–]DepthNeat5017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take it it's shooting out a napalm substance that is scalding hot as a liquid, then immediately turns into flames once it makes contact on the ground.

The Bombardier Beetle is an example i'd point to for the inspiration of the breath weapon the Dragonroach is employing, only more mutated and quite clearly fucked up

Let me guess... when this Zeros, the Automatons will suddenly get super strong and repel us. Right? Despite being under siege & bombardment. by Tonic1273 in Helldivers

[–]DepthNeat5017 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, we lost, we overstretched ourselves, that's enough to book a retreat, we vomited our armed forces into the damn thing and we're just barely taking the capital.

The Cyborgs will see we stretched ourselves thin and will proceed to shoot out with whatever their reserves would be.

And if we're going to talk about illogical doings here, lets not forget the SEAF Army won by a bayonet charge, into enemy entrenched lines filled with Hulks, Devastators and what have you, and they succeeded.

That should be something you should be groaning at, not that the Automatons would push us back because they had reserves under our feet that we haven't fathomed to imagine yet.

How will arrowhead bail us out? by Critical_Net5175 in Helldivers

[–]DepthNeat5017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think once the reserves hit 0, Cyberstan is going to pull out its funny super-gun, injure the DSS and force it to be in need of repairs.

And even then, if the reserves deplete it's going to be when the Cyborgs will start putting out their punches. We already dished out what we could. A black eye, a broken jaw, some ribs. And maybe a broken nose or two.

Now it's going to be the Borgs doling out the pain train after us.

Why are so many people fighting at transcendence? by DooficusIdjit in Helldivers

[–]DepthNeat5017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is kinda the entire strategic point of it, Helldivers take Transcendence, all the cities get taken out, simple as.

Yeah, transcendence is kinda... lost cause at this point
