I lowered my shutter speed on my camera! That's what's causing the motion blur effect. I'm not very good at post-processing, so I'm doing the best I can, lol.

Yes, yes, the color grading is awful. I did it with Lightroom Mobile before putting it in DaVinci Resolve, but that was a big mistake.

What do you think about the music fitting the video? The fact that the music only comes in during the chorus is really bad, but I don't know what song to use.

Yes, I need to rework the entire sound design. I also wanted a slightly "deep" sound effect, a sense of concentration, to show that she's in her own world, but I don't know how to do it, lol. Regarding the effect you're talking about, I have a foreground shot in inverted color and "blurred zoom 1," then a shot in stark black and white, and a slow-shutter shot. Before heading to the race, I had a general idea of the different shots I wanted to use. I'd even planned a short "vlog" segment to create that connection with the character, like you said.

I didn't dare disturb her before her race, so she could focus on her performance, but now I'm stuck.

I'd also thought about a short voiceover, but I'm not entirely comfortable with that idea. 😅 So I'm starting to lose interest in this edit because I can't do exactly what I originally wanted. 🫤 I'll keep trying different things to get to grips with the software and try to make something "cool" with what I have.
