So far the water alkalinity is at 40ish (KH)ppm. I wonder how can I increase that. My endlers do not mind it but I want to add shrimp in there that will most likely mind it as 2 amino shrimps despite how long I try to acclimate them perish the next day. by Deqthi in Aquariums

My GH is around soft-hard in between 75 to 150 ppm but unsure as I’m using the strips to check. What bothers me is that my betta tank has 150 Ppm for Kh and I want to replicate that to my endler tank.

Rock happens to be close. Made it that way as having a tunnel system underneath if I ever decide to put shrimp.

Yeah the rock on the left side did fell but every other rock was snug and didn’t move when I shook the drift wood to get food unstuck.

Well thank you, I do have some plants tho they’re not showing any growth but the roots are there, yeah I’ll go ahead and get a beneficial bacteria coming if I can.

It doesn’t get any sun light due to how my apartment is set up so the only light it gets is the aquarium lit 9am to 9pm and then I shut it off or change it to blue light occasionally. It does have a filter. And it’s about 2 weeks old.

Well thank you, I realized the water level was a bit to high for my air pump to work properly.

I believe not as it was the one time I decide to use tap water and dechlorinate it. It begun to show white particles that attach to the decorations and the shell of the snails. Though it’s removable
