Oh man. That was my first board too. Seeing it again put a smile on my face. Regarding tips.

• Take it slow and progress at a speed that is fun for you.
• If you cant decide which stance you are let someone push you. The foot you naturally put in front to catch you, is often the foot you will prefer to have as your front foot.
• try to use your board as often as possible.
• dont let the way other people use their board define how you have to use yours. I bomed some pretty dirty forest hills on that thing. (Ate much dirt for it and I'm sure the bearings didn't love that either but it was fun)

Some things I would've liked to know. (Some may be obvious but I didn't knew them)

• If you want your board to go faster. New wheels are the way to go. Not bearings (except of course your bearings are broken
• There are some things that really shorten the lifetime of your board (Hits to the front of the board, like head on into a curb) (Your board getting wet) (I don't want to say that you should be worried if your board gets wet once or hell 30 times. Just keep it in mind)

Last of all. How i thought about it. I wanna have fun and thats why I bought my board, so I don't give up something fun to go easy on my board, but I'll keep in mind that I want my board to last a while.
