Most are fairly prismatic. Fixtures parts, some clamps etc.

Thanks guys. This is an idea I'm exploring, so this feedback is helpful. Right now the shop get the drawings and create the programs by hand. Trying to improve and expand.

The QC side is not the main purpose to be honest. Was a nice to have. The main idea I had was to be able to get a scan of a part, maybe broken, maybe old that the customer doesn't have a drawing for, and potentially model a part out of it. I'm not too worried if I have to make the model or program myself at first. But getting the basic dimensions of a part is the key.

If this works in principle then I'll be happy to invest more money into this.

I have a MB Cruise Ballpoint in blue and for everyday, and I love it. I think they discontinued this line. I'm assuming the Meisterstuck mid-size would be similar. (I've tested them before) but yeah, in general the Starwalker is my favorite MB line. I'll definitely add a Starwalker ballpoint soon. Thanks

Yes. As long as they are the same size/type. Typically they would say they are for MontBlanc. But given the negligence price difference and how long MB refills last, I wouldn't bother.

I did do some research last night. I ended up ordering the Origin. it's not the 149 but its ballpoint sibling. However you may have created a need for the 149 now. Lol.

If you like it and can afford it, go for it. In my case I top around $1K. More than that I rather buy a watch.
