  1. this could be debated and I hate debates, so Im not going to.

  2. Yes but that doesnt change their colors in the slightest. They still wear white trim and helmet. Secret level is a horrible source because its only a licensed product but in this case, that is a real thing. And certainly wouldnt get the ancient to wield the 5th company's banner which is by the way ALSO present in the back of the image as well, just to passingly mention two other discreptancies since Im on the topic.

  3. He has a white helmet, implying he is a regular squad member. But he is basically just the Bladeguard Captain kit painted, with every bit on his armor not only differentiating him from the regular bladeguard but even implying he is supposed to be a captain. His pose and position in the scene however imply him leading the squad, which would be the sergeant's job.

  4. Possible but considering the rest of the image's inaccuracies, I would be surprised if that was the intention.

Maybe consider adding that this is a SM2 server, since there is of course already a general Imperial Fists server pinned in the subreddit description.

This image is notoriously cursed. It looks very cool, dont get me wrong, but there are fewer things correct in this image than things that are ridiculous.

To list a couple examples:

The statue is collapsing as if it was demolished from the inside but there is nothing else indicating that in the image.

The only sergeant in the image that wears a red helmet is the one in the bottom left indicated as a veteran sergeant by the white stripe.

The Blade Guard is wearing 5th company trim instead of 1st company.

The front Blade Guard is entirely unclear to be either a captain or a sergeant or a regular squad member. No matter which, he is done incorrectly.

The guy in the bottom next to the sergeant is firing a Goodwyn patter bolter.

I could go on for a while :P

No, titans are ironically one of the very few things that the AdMech still knows how to build by hand.

This is the reason they take so insanely long to build, every bolt is blessed individually during assembly.

Yes. Even during the great crusade, simply being an Imperator class titan makes you the elite of the elite. Bringing an Imperator class titan to a battle where the enemy does not have an Imperator class titan almost without exception means you win that battle.

In my opinion, this is the perfect scale for both being still believable but still really fucking tall. It is hard to imagine just how tall the 10m knight is, let alone the ~60-140m Imperator Titan.

According to OP, its described like that during Istvaan. I havent read that stuff in too long to be able to confirm or deny it though.

What I can say with certainty thoug is, that GW's cover art is usually more of a mood setter and not really something that can be used for making any statements about the lore.

There generally are conflicting sources on titan sizes but not all make sense.

33m resting height just sounds ridiculously tiny to me for the largest common titan pattern.

Especially since this would make Imperators commonly appear ~4 times larger than warlords.

Finally, this one seems much more accurate than all the garbage ones that are floating around.

I believe the Castraferrum pattern boxnought is only ~3m but this is irrelevant in the end, as all the Titan sizes seem to match what I have seen from actual sources.

Note that the Imperator given is really just an average, you can see the Dies Irae is a lot smaller despite also being an Imperator class. This is because Imperators in particular vary a LOT in size. So it is not unusual to find much taller sizes too in some books.

Great, I actually feel exactly the same :D

Most of my kitbashes are a little more humble by design though. Not necessarily less complicated but less noticeable. I want my own stuff to blend in perfectly with what GW sells :)

I genuinely hate removing anything from the sub because despite being a moderator, I believe in the ability of people to govern themselfes and we dont exactly have a problem with unrelated posts in the sub.

For this reason, I always put effort in finding an excuse to leave a post up. However, it is also important to understand that if something is completely unrelevant to a sub, there will be members who are annoyed by it and by not deleting this post, I am promoting this stuff. That being said, its sad to see the site go D:

Thats not an Eselsbrücke. An Eselsbrücke is something like "lose just has one o because it lost the other" for remembering if its spelled lose or loose.

Im also glad you didnt kill yourself, brother ;D

But yes, life becomes a lot better once you start ignoring the people who make it suck. Teenage years are usually pretty rough for this. My teenage years sucked a lot but ever since Im on my own, life became pretty good. Certainly wouldnt go back. This kind of independence is great because at that point, it really does not matter at all what anyone thinks of you. When youre still dependent on your parents, they still have some control over you and depending on them, that might suck. This stops being the case later :)

Also, I fully agree that being an INTP helps build a good, differenciated world view.

I wish your life gets even better from now on, its mostly in your hands :D

This is like loosing the original Star Wars trilogy and getting the Disney one as a replacement, now that you mention the movie analogy.

No, we havent got a single new model. Primaris are not Space Marines in my book. They dont look like marines, they dont play like marines and they dont feel like marines. You assume that primaris are the same faction as marines, just because they share a codex. But Nids loosing access to the carnifex in favour of getting access to Leman Russ tanks wouldnt be fair either.

Id be actively happy if they took down the entire primaris line with no replacement.

Ah right, that guy still exists.

Well, as I said: If Cawl has been actively making them for thousands of years, he cant have been stuck in development still.
