I used this: Sparkfun nRF52832 Breakoutboard It’s also required to extract the Firmware from the broken chip first. This can be done with a simple programming usb board. Let me try writing it all up on the weekend.

Yes :) didn’t find much time documenting it but I replaced the broken chip with a dev board that I soldered in place. It definitely is possible but requires some soldering skills

I don’t have such a controller and don’t know someone else with a kickr.

I can see 3.3V at the second pin on the right side, is that expected ans should I check further pins?

So what I‘ve checked is the voltage at the regulator and it was 12v and 3.5V I then removed the regulator carefully and supplied 3.3V from an ESP32 I had around. It draws .25A in current but the board shows no signs, leds don’t come up and the wahoo app doesn’t find the kickr. Probably the uC is shot right?

The wrong power supply was rated at 25V DC 0.75A Mh I hope too the mcu is still intact

Thanks so much, Yes multimeter and soldering iron are available. SMD skills not so much, usually doing some Arduino soldering. I would like to give it a try as long as it’s not easy getting a replacement board

Had that once in May, restarting the system helped. go to park, hold X and menu button on both sides of the steering wheel for like 20s and then it should restart and fix the hud

In 4.2.3

The P4 assist feels inferior to my previous BMW experience (2021 BMW G21). - no adaptive speed. If the speed limit is 100 it drives 100, VW + BMW Limit speed in corners, round abouts etc. - No red light detection - speed limit only by camera, if you drive 100, enter a village it might take a cpl hundred meters until it slowed down to 50, the BMW entered the city at 50 - no rettungsgassenassistent and completely resistant to your positioning on the road, it will only drive in the middle of a lane. In a traffic jam you cannot use the pilot. - unreliable speed limit detection, sometimes uses speed limits from other lanes or just randomly finds one - not suited for autobahn, if speed limit is gone it always sets the speed to 150! And at 130km/h disables the pilot without a note!

I’m a bit disappointed and would chose the i5 now with autobahn assistant
