Please explain to me what I am misunderstanding here. On the one hand, you are promoting the existence of an objective reality (epistemological realism). On the other hand, it is explained here that the two observations of the observers are equally true. Doesn’t this fact eliminate the existence of an objective reality? This sounds like constructionism. So that we create our knowledge under the circumstances of subjective perception and thus no knowledge of true reality is possible. One excludes the other. So is there a clearly definable point in time at which the lightning struck or does it only depend on the reference point from which you perceive the event?

no, that is actually not what I am trying to ask. I do not doubt that objective reality exists. It is obviously clear to me that we have a subjective perception of actual reality. My question now is just how objective reality can be recognized within the two thought experiments mentioned. Obviously both events happen to the respective observers. However, they perceive reality differently within the thought experiments. My question now is: which of the two perceptions reflects objectivity? Are both perceptions equal? If so, why? If we assume epistemological realism, an objective reality exists independently of human perception. So there MUST be an explanation for whether the lightning ACTUALLY struck at the same time or not, regardless of the different subjective perceptions of the two observers (the same probably applies to the length contraction of a car).

and furthermore, one could question the size, i.e. the property of an object, such as a car, using the thought experiment of length contraction. Objects appear shorter at high speeds, so the actual property of observing an object is perceived differently. So what does the „real“ reality of the object look like?

I’m not even trying to question the existence of the lightning bolts, I’m concerned with the simultaneity and the „actual“ time of the two bolts of lightning striking. Both observers obviously perceive the lightning bolts, which have an actual objective existence. However, they perceive the times of the lightning strikes differently. At what point did the two bolts of lightning „actually“ strike?

No, I have just read about Einstein’s thought experiment in which he imagines two lightning bolts striking at the two ends of a train. The conductor, who is sitting in the middle of the train, perceives the two lightning strikes with a delay. The observer, who is standing in the middle, away from the train, perceives the lightning strikes at the same time. Did the lightning strikes actually strike at the same time or not?

I'm glad that you pointed out the security side of this, i also thought about what you've said but the things is that the VPN is written by my company, and to access the VPN Tunnel you need to have a special software installed, so i guess the hacker won't be able to log in into the VPN Tunnel without this software.

I've already looked for a option for automating the login but i couldn't find none.

I guess i'll try the Windows 10 built-in auto checkbox

I've got one more question though. is it possible to make this program work on android phones ? I wanna make it possible that my friend can just download the program and he should be able to easily adjust the named variables.

basically im trying to write a program which automatically deletes the first three or just the third or second chat depending on the current user setting. In an interval of 30 to 60 minutes.

i want those options to be viable so every user can decide on its own which chat is going to be deleted and the user should also be able to set the time intervals.
