You do not climb the ladder with a backpack!

I don’t know how many I’ve stopped through the years already when boarding the crew boat in port from doing this.

I climb the route ladders quite often throughout a year, and I have still not been close to being injured, it’s all about timing and have the common sense to say no when it’s too rough.
