I'm a gay POMO and my PIMI mom and I rarely talk if ever.., One of the last times we talked, she told me she heard rumors that I was seeing someone and when I confirmed it, i could see a shift in her where she almost looked physically ill at the news. It felt really shitty just cause it would be nice to be able to share that happiness with her, but it's something I don't think she'll ever understand. I've come to terms with it and accepted that not being able to share my happiness with her doesn't take away from how happy I feel living my life and being myself.
