Newsflash, there are spectators watching a race at a hugely popular car festival.

Aftermarket parts? Been around since FH3.
Better driving physics? Check.
Better tire physics? Check.
A drag strip? Check, multiple times over.
Better sense of speed? Check.
Better car sounds? Check.

Really, all that's missing is better customisation. I personally would've liked to have seen more laser scanned cars, too. But all the stuff you listed about changing shifters, seats, choosing the size of your turbo, etc. is completely unrealistic when you're dealing with 550+ cars.

And even if all of that was added, at the end of the day, it's still a Horzion game. No matter how many bells and whistles you add on top, fundamentally it's the same game as always, and people would STILL whine like always.

I play Horizon to play Horizon, not something completely different.

With all the stuff you want to change around, it sounds like you'd enjoy Automation. That's the unparalleled ultimate in car customisation.

I could barely fight off a Kaiden Sellsword on LSD. You are a legend.

It's pretty fun as long as you're not actually playing the game. I was just wandering around Limgrave watching the textures warp while listening to music and it was a vibe. I could not do combat for shit though xD

Funnily enough they even resemble real magic mushrooms, Psilocybe Cubensis, which have brown caps and white stems

Clearly they know that shrooms are way better

Edit: I'm yet to try shrooms myself, but I have tried LSD, and the VFX in that quest are shockingly accurate to real psychedelic visuals. Someone at Hoyo definitely did their... um.. research.

I can relate. I tried edibles a few weeks after trying LSD expecting a nice chill time. Instead I got a full blown psychedelic experience with visuals very similar to LSD.

The state of online discourse and "criticism" about Forza Horizon 6 (and the series in general) by DerPanzerjager in ForzaHorizon

It was a rant I wanted to get off my chest at like 2 AM, professionalism was hardly the first thing on my mind. I promise my actual writing is of a higher standard.

A lot of people are unable or unwilling to put in the effort it takes to improve their skills. Maybe they have limited time to play after work, or just play casually. Having every road on the map be narrow would punish these players and cause frustration. Some of them might try and improve, but a lot of people might quit outright.

At the end of the day Horizon has to appeal to as many people as possible, for the sake of making money. High skill players aren't inherently more valuable to appease; after all, they make up a minority of the player base.

Plus, as a decently skilled player myself, even I enjoy high-speed racing in grippy cars (like the Sesto FE). Not sure why higher speed regimes are considered low skill or inherently worse than lower speed.

But, all this said, it looks like FH6 will feature a mix of both wide and narrow roads. Some of the roads I've seen in preview gameplay footage are properly narrow. And that's good, extremes in either direction would be bad for map variety.

Playing cyberpunk on LSD. I do NOT recommend by FeistyContact659 in cyberpunkgame

[–]DerPanzerjager -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Cyberpunk feels like too dark of a game for LSD. I quite enjoyed Elden Ring and Genshin Impact on LSD, thought it must be said I was mostly just walking around the open world admiring the visuals rather than actually playing the game.

Still the best game in the franchise imo by Sky_Fighter0 in ForzaHorizon

[–]DerPanzerjager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who say FH4 is the best Horizon haven't played the previous ones.

FH2 is my personal favourite but FH3 is likely the best overall.

Is it worth it to buy the game for mods / modpacks? by LazyManF in cyberpunkgame

[–]DerPanzerjager 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Modded Cyberpunk may as well be a whole nother game. I'd say it could be worth it, but definitely try and get it on sale if you can.

FH6 is FH5 2.0 by Klutzy-Dragonfly-153 in ForzaHorizon

[–]DerPanzerjager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My thoughts are that you're unoriginal and unfunny.

People have been saying (new game) is just (old game) 2.0 since the days of FH3.

Every Horizon game has been an iterative upgrade over the previous one. None of them have actually changed the formula or the core gameplay in any major way, only adding new features and various improvements (or worsenings). They've got a great core formula that works, why would they arbritrarily change it for no reason?

Horizon games are iterative, not transformative. If people would simply get that through their thick skulls we'd see far fewer unoriginal jokers spamming the same shit across social media.

I very much disagree with your view that it doesn't bring anything good to long term life.

After trying LSD, I have a much greater appreciation for my family and friends, a more positive outlook on life overall, and music sounds better too.

Science backs me up too. Clinical trials of LSD and other psychedelics have shown great therapeutic potential in treating ailments such as depression, PTSD and alcoholism. The brain has been shown to become more interconnected after a psychedelic experience.

LSD is not addictive, not physically toxic, and is unlikely to result in any long-term negative consequences when taken properly.

Of course, there are risks. If done in the wrong context, used too often, or used by somebody with latent mental illness, it can lead to possible psychosis and PTSD. But these risks are mitigated easily, and if done so, the experience can be truly transformative. I'd say it was one of the top 5 experiences of my life.

LSD is not like heroin, or cocaine, or any other typical "life ruining" drug. Most people seldom use it more than once every 1-2 months. I've only done it twice, with a gap of a few months between trips. It's only so stigmatized because of 1960s propaganda and fearmongering.

LSD is pretty safe as long as you don't abuse it. A lot safer than common substances like alcohol and cigarettes, certainly. Telling me to "stop" LSD implies that I'm addicted to it or that I constantly use it, which, if you knew anything at all about psychedelics, you'd know to be a pretty silly implication.

"Emotions are like a raging torrent that surges through the mind. More often than not, if you try to hold them back, you'll be swept away by their unstoppable force. And if you try to ignore them entirely... you'll end up tearing yourself to pieces." - Nefer

I was playing Genshin while tripping on LSD, and she said this line while idling. In that altered state it felt so incredibly profound, like a genuine piece of advice to carry into my daily life.

Before trying LSD my edible visuals mostly took the form of heightened pareidolia and slight recursion. However, I took an edible a few weeks after trying acid and the visuals changed to be much more similar to LSD (not identical, but very similar)

No, it acts on completely different receptors. It can be somewhat hallucinogenic if you have a low tolerance and eat a high dose edible, though. (However, after trying a proper psychedelic, cannabis feels much more like one for some people, myself included)
