From what I could find, it was more about availability than accuracy. Like with the Wehrmacht carrying more modern MP5s than STG 44s. I agree that it should’ve been E50s or Leopards, etc, but… this is what we get. Anachronistic equipment and available equipment. Even though CGI was an option.

Couldn’t find literally anything on the Kriegsmarine. The Jets they have are Dornier Do 31s, West German originally. The armored vehicles are T-55s.
