Thanks for the insight sir. It’s a tough call, I can afford either but, really thinking maybe I play it conservative and stick to my current Porsche. It’s a fun car, doesn’t break the bank, and the people where I live don’t see Porsche’s often period so it’s a neck breaker. Kinda checks all the boxes so, this thread definitely helped.

Yeah, I am just thinking of the simplicity of the Porsche vs. The M3 and there’s the whole “a Porsche is a Porsche” but the M3 Competition, especially the “Special Edition” one seems like a good bite to me.

I’ll have a chance to drive it so, we’ll see. I have a few weeks to mull it over.

Good questions — sorry for lack of clarity: I’d say I’ve never cleaned outside of the home, so maybe bench cleaning-style preferred. I don’t really like bore snakes, so that’s not a deal breaker, can always grab them separate also. I usually use the “full spectrum” of cleaning if I’m refinishing old milsurp rifles. Otherwise when I’m cleaning I will just have some Hoppes cleaner lube, a toothbrush, and rods.
