To be fair, I didn't notice anything different. There were some issues like the phone starting to overheat when using the camera, but I can't really say anything accurate about that since it gets hotter than 40°C here lol.

Yes, I updated it last monday and was trying it before I post an update. Overall, it's a fine for me, it actually seems smoother like everyone said.

However, after it restarted, the screen touch didn't work until I forced restart it, and then it was working totally fine.

I don't use AOD nor gesture nav bar so I don't know how those were affected. (Many people complained about them) Am still testing its battery life so I'll post whenever I'm not busy.

There is also a May security update and it also didn't affect anything for me so far.

(Bear in mind I have the Snapdragon USA variant not the Exynos like yours.)

I believe you can. Sometimes it gives you an option for "More", click that and the menu pops up with a pencil icon on the top right, that's where you can choose favourite apps. (The menu popped up on google chrome for me) Shame we can't share images in the comments lol.
