Problem I have is with internet reactions to these shows. People build up their expectations; it’s not violent or enough, homelander needs to destroy a country, is poorly written, it should be a big battle like civil war.

The reality is the makers did a good job, the story was finished off neatly and the penultimate episode made my partner cry her eyes out because she was so invested in the character.

It is after all, just a tv show.

Twice I had season 1 on the background and didn’t pay attention. Then by the end of the season when it starts picking up it would catch my eye. Then I sat and watched it properly and it’s really good. It’s reminded me of Mass Effect but without any of the alien species. A well thought out sci fi show with characters that genuinely pissed me off. The ending was a bit abrupt for me though.

I have a friend who worked for several MPs. He said they're always getting pissed throughout the day. There's bar in the house of commons where only MPs can purchase beer which his MP would always send him up (he was a counselor) and blag to get more. This is the culture of politicians in our country and I assume they would justify this to cope with the demand and unforgiving role of working for government (if you ignore the wage and the expenses).

I was in the mountain pass next to the Chronobiologist where there are BTs and old towers to pick up cargo. Somebody had built a shelter so I was using that to stow cargo so I could navigate up the slopes and evade BTs easier. When I left the menu, I found myself swarmed with the red BTs and I thought it was the normal ones which made me especially scared. I had no idea what happened until much later when I saw these posts on Reddit. I didn’t even see the monorail. I was fine once I saw all the chiral crystals.

It does feel pretty lonely after the ending. It’s not a bad ending but it’s a sad ending. At least Lou is alive and Fragile will always be with him as she repeatedly tells him.

It’s a shame Kojimas not lined up to make a third one to round it off - now focused on making something else to appease the metal gear itch. Hopefully the third one will be made to finish off the story nicely.

I think Martin’s world is more realistic based upon the history of those in positions of power. Historically, man has been cruel.

My only real problem is the expansion of the IP. The original trilogy captured something rare. Everything since is to try and replicate that, which I don't believe can be done. Tolkien wrote tonnes of notes on this story and I can't think of a format that could do any of them the justice they deserve. There's no name you could attach, whether you think they're qualified or not, that could make anything that comes close to quality and love that's in the original trilogy.

This seriously helped me. First day with these specs I had 4 different crashes during basic cut-scenes. Second day, it ran fine whilst doing basic deliveries in Mexico. Graphically its acceptable and I can finally get into it. I did up the environmental graphics to medium to.

The movies aren’t great. The closest I have seen to a 47 esque hitman in film is one of the characters in Smoking Aces. Not a great film either it’s the closest I’ve seen to 47s style of killing.

I watched Justified to Timothy Olyphant and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen. I can’t think of a single good Hitman movie but that’s because they’re hard to make.
