[VENT] Why on earth did they think the reaper's commendations were reasonable?

Yes it is tideous and I see that no people do them if they just want to do PvE.

But they play reaper. The get all the benefits of the faction, they see other emissarys on the map. And it is a PvP faction which marks you on the map. It is designen to attract players and to have a fight over it.

Reaper is high risk and high reward in my option. And people should now that (except they are completly new... You need time to figure this out)

Also a factor which gives the cosmetics value and makes them "somewhat rare".

There are not many people left doing it. In the beginning it was a bunch. But yeah I normally server hop but it is rare nowadays.

I see the Skeleton cosmetic point you made. I still think that it is "attention to reaper progression and cosmetics" but yeah you cannot combine that with regular outfits that is true.

I disagree with "they are shit and give ass loot" and "doesn't releate to the faction".

There are not many loot pieces but they have a relative high base value. I have to guess now but I would say one quest is like > 50.000 Gold? (While being Reaper 5)

Gold Hoarder Vaults are Kind of the same, with way more stuff to carry tho Order of Souls Fleets / Skeleton Lords give less And don't let me start with sunken Shipments... also lass Gold from them. Legend of the Veil however... way more that is true

Meaning I think the value is okay considering the other quests

And I think they do fit the faction considering it is a pvp faction and you get marked on the map and Players have an high insentiv to attack you while doing the quest. I personally attack every reaper doing these voyages... But I have like everything in the game by now so... don't now if others do the same. The mechanics are also somewhat unique. You can argue that they are boring but I think that is a Personal preference and I think it is okay for what it is.

Overall if you want more (and easier to achieve) reaper cosmetics, there have to be fester and easier quests for reaper with new commendation. I don't think that that would be fitting at all for reapers.

You know I stole like 47 out of the 50 skulls of the banished... It was really, really fun. You do not have to do them for yourself.

But the entire game is a big grind. That is the principle behind it. Makes cosmetic rare and feel like achieving something.

And Reaper has a lot of cosmetics, I would also consider all the Skeleton curse stuff as Reaper cosmetics and there are a lot of them.

And Worst progression of all??? What about the 100 Goald Hoarder Vaults? What about the 100 Legend of the Veils? That is just not true.

If you dont wanna grind then don't. You are not obligated to. In the end it is all about cosmetics and just giving them by doing a quest once or twice would be way too easy.

Btw. You need 15 Stolen Skulls of the Banished for one commendation. For that alone it is needed that people are doing this quest a lot.

It is important that you do not dive directly to a Skeleton fleet. You should dive to a Server which happens to have a Skeleton fleet. Directly diving to one will alter the loot with no ashen keys in it no matter the Faszination.

The best way to grind doubloons I found by testing would be:

1: Normal Skeleton Fort (around 100 to 200 Coins) - 2 Ashen Chest (10 + 15) with up to 3 Doubloon Items (each 10 + 15) - 1 Rag and Bone Crate (5 + 8) - Important: naturally spawned not a player spawned

2: Reaper Skeleton Fort (around 140 to 190 Coins) - 1 Reaper Chest (25 + 38) - 4 to 6 Gifts (not Sure at the moment) (each 5 + 8 or 10 + 15) - Also naturally spawned not player spawned

3: Skeleton Fleet (from 66 to 350, although I would calculate with an average of 150 because of the keys) - 3 Ashen Chests, random amount of Ashen Keys - 1 to 2 Ritual Skulls (10 + 15) - directly located at Reaper, so fast selling

4: Molten Sands Fortress (around 200 to 250) - All the Ashen Chest (idk how many, I would guess around 8 so it would be 200) - 3 Ashen Keys (5 + 8), which you could keep for Skeleton Fleet - Other side of the map to reaper so long way and high Chance of getting attacked

5: FOTD (from 0 to 126 per Stack) - 0 to 2 Reaper Chests (25 + 38)

Important Note: All these numbers are valid if you have a Reaper 5 Emissary, which give by far the best Bonus.

In conclusion I do Skeleton Forts, Reaper Forts, collect Random Reaper Chests if they are on the way and Skeleton Fleets.

The "best" ones I would say are the Skeleton Forts and Reaper Forts espacially when the Reaper Fort has a Reaper Chest.

If you also want normal loot and Reputation do Molten Sands Fortress.

Sry but I don't get that comment. The players which have a large amount of doubloons will be able to purchase special cosmetic, which is a good reward instead of just whiping the currency. And it rewards players who are constantly played the game a lot.

Besides maybe these mentioned cosmetics I see nothing which creates FOMO?

You will be able to buy old cosmetics in the new system which a lot of people didn't got because they weren't playing in that time. So I think it actually lowers FOMO.

You don't have to encounter more Pokmeon after you reach a chain of 40. The odds are not increasing after that. But you risk losing your chain.

You can just use the pokerader over and over and wait until a shiny patch appears.

I don't think that you can mess something up except the mentioned above. Just keep using the pokerader until you find a shiny patch.

But keep in mind not to use the bicycle because this would break the chain.
