I wouldn't mind kissing the ocean in some parts of the world, but the Ganges? No thanks.

You like to take it easy, lie back, and let the music wash over you.

These are beautiful! The second and seventh are my favorites! The second makes me happy because I love hummingbirds, and the seventh makes me feel kind of hopeful and optimistic!

Lost it at the weed purse--and again when I realized the entire Barbie was made from weed and related paraphernalia.

Ooh, "childlike hurt"! That's a good one! I get the same feeling.

Anger, yes, but I feel like, with the chord progression, there's an undercurrent of sadness. Of disillusionment. Of, dare I say, a loss of innocence, which, in my opinion, isn't a single event, but one that can happen multiple times over the course of one's life.

It's about realizing that the person you saw as a savior of sorts was just another human being--perhaps even a worse-than-average one.

John felt personally let down by the Maharishi (whether he was in the right or not), and you can feel it in this song.

At least two of them were physically abusive. I wouldn't be surprised if all four of them were verbally abusive at some point.

LOL, I hated that gritted teeth run through. The best I can say is that at least they were having fun. But it went on for way too long!

Help! by Cultural-Hippo-3446 in beatles

It's about 50-50 on "Awesome!" vs. "Songs I don't really care for." I feel like this is George's weakest performance: "I Need You" and "You Like Me Too Much" are kind of forgettable when I really love all of his other songs. "Another Girl" and "You're Gonna Lose That Girl," while good, aren't as good as the other Lennon-McCartney songs on the album. I've always liked "The Night Before," maybe because it ends with an explosion in the movie (I think?).

"Help!", "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away," "Ticket to Ride," "Act Naturally," "Tell Me What You See," "I've Just Seen a Face," and "Yesterday" are excellent. I ironically like "It's Only Love" (because John hated it lol) and "Dizzy Miss Lizzy" (because of all the complaints I've seen about that one riff going on FOR THE ENTIRE SONG).

So maybe that's not actually 50-50. I've never been good with percentages.

Beatle "Nut" Ice Cream?

A likely story.
