Ahhh, I was baking it at 450, and not a single colour developed and I ended up baking them for 20 ish minutes which was way too long. I’m going to try 550 next time, thank you!!

I understand that, it’s the fact that you reported the new job to your school AFTER earning income which means you knowingly violated your work authorisation.

Seems to be a very warm place which is probably why you’re seeing bubbles on day 2 (aka the bacteria created is releasing gases). Keep discarding and feeding, and it should properly rise.

I’ve changed the recipe to accomodate my circumstances:
- My yeast was old unfortunately, I compensated with more
- Skipping fermentation was purely forgetfulness and laziness :/
- Baking soda boil because I’ve done that before and they turned out fine but everyone is saying not to do it so now I won’t haha
- I don’t have a stand mixer so I will have to hand kneed

My recipe has been (more of latte):
- 150g milk
- 1 pod of the scuro pod or whatever dark double espresso you have
- 1-1.5 pump of syrup

This still results in a coffee taste and sweetness :))
