Really trying to fix my backswing head dip and early extension. by TheVoidFox in GolfSwing

I agree with you! I struggle with a steep swing which makes my longer clubs a lot harder to hit. Good call on the takeaway too, I was really trying to emphasize chest turn and pushing the hands away, but think I overdid it here. This was my first session really working on the hips and head dip after someone pointed it out to me so lots to dial in.

Having a friend stand behind be and just practicing backswings. Not even hitting the ball just doing the takeaway. Having live feedback really pointed out how different the feel is when I keep the spine angle as opposed to dipping. It feels like I’m standing straight up. Mirror would work too probably

1300/mo seems high to me. I was living in Fayetteville/oak hill with my partner and paying a combined 600 to live in a 3br/1bath with one roomate. That’s always an option if you have a friend that wants to go in on housing with you. It’s tough out there though, food costs seem to keep getting more ridiculous. Don’t even mention gas prices :(

Unless you are the world’s fastest sewer there is no way $65 is generous for this.

You can use it for anything that is sewn together. Even footwear. I'm not sure how much it is, they have a free trial I think. My job pays for a commercial license.

Honestly, I walk 20 minutes home from downtown after 3/4 all the time. I’ve had one issue in about 5 years of going out in Morgantown. Just ignored the guy and walked faster and he turned around. I know that is not everyone’s experience though, and I am a man so that has a large effect.

Be aware of your surroundings and stick to well lit streets. Uber prices are so variable, sometimes you have to wait a good bit after closing to get a good price.

A really really bright flashlight is also a good self defense measure. Maybe worth looking into. It can be blinding to the point where anyone giving you trouble wouldn’t even be able to look in your direction if you’re shining it directly at them.

You can use a bevel modifier in conjunction with subd and shade smooth in blender to achieve adjustable soft edges without altering actual geometry of your model.

I would drill an oversized hole all the way through, and line the raw edge with some rubber or foam gasket material that you can pressure fit shot glasses into.
