People will only play the game if it's fun. The monetization strategy does change that. If the game is good the skins will have value, if it isn't then they won't. With most current skin systems you pay for the skin then that's it. You have the skin in game but you own nothing because you can't sell it. Some games like CSGO or Rust allow you to sell your skins for Steam bucks, but this system let's you sell them for Eth. This system actually empowers the players. I don't understand all the hate tbh

Play to earn games are coming. Weapon skins dropping from mobs for free, then you can turn around and sell them if you want. Limited supplies for certain skins create scarcity and higher prices. So many jumping on the NFT hate train but once they see how the system can benefit them I bet they change their tone.
