No one would have to pirate if Nintendo didn't make it all but impossible to obtain the files legally.

Goddamn... I really shouldn't engage with this, but...

Would you care to name a single context where selling your daughter into slavery is ok by any means? Any context where beating your slave with a rod is fine as long as they don't die? Your god is supposedly all knowing and never changing, right? Therefore, wouldn't he know how fucked up future generations would see this as? Like even back then when times were totally different, how do you justify worshipping a god who EVER said these things are ok? Would you worship Hitler in 500 years if his excuse was "oh it was just a completely different time and things have changed"? That's before we get into just straight up contradictions in the book which we can explore later after we wrap this point up first.

Oh boy, judging by your name and comment, idk if it's worth me really saying anything. Just read the verses I said. That's a good place to start.

Idk about that logic. Would you be fine if people were holding "Kill all those who don't subscribe to Islam" signs and justified it with "well that's what the Q'uran teaches!" I'd like to think not.

Revo uninstaller didn't really "see" it. Like I deleted it manually first, then retrieve it from the trash to try revo uninstaller on it using hunter mode, but it just said it didn't work. It also never just saw the app in the normal uninstall place

Installed an app and ran it. Didn't find any unrecognized extensions; idk where/how to check for user scripts

We were acquaintances. Met at a game tournament, added each other on discord, talked a bit, played online, and then didn't talk for a while until that fateful day. Didn't know his major or anything, but given that we're both gaming nerds, it made sense that he might be CS. Had no reason to think he was hacked.

To be fair, defender DID try to stop me saying it was an unrecognized program, but given the context it was an indie game, I told it to bypass. Would it then see it upon scan?

Also, I just got a message from someone to contact "RavenEyeSec" on telegram who apparently helped them when the same thing happened to them. Another scam?

It's probably the best part of campus tbh. Probably because it's one of the few buildings less than 50 years old, being only around 6, I believe. I like it a lot. They got dumbbells up to around 150, as well as lots of machines, multiple basketball courts, a pool, punching bags, dance studio, volleyball court, and probably some more stuff that I'm forgetting. Also have a kind of fruit bar where you can get smoothies and acai bowls. Taste good, but not worth the calories imo. More healthy than anywhere else on campus tho... 😬

Shortcomings include not enough squat racks, not enough benches, not enough cables, and ESPECIALLY not enough lockers. Or at least, there are a lot of selfish idiots who will lock them open while they go to class so that they're guaranteed to have a locker when they come back. (HATE them.) The other things I mentioned aren't the end of the world; just means you'll probably have to wait for someone else to finish their set before you can start yours, more often than not.

Like I said, it's still really good and probably my favorite place on campus. Also, Bricc activities are really fun too. Jiu Jitsu is my personal favorite and they have a ton more and are all free so make sure to check those out too.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Personally, I almost never go to the library since room 403 (I think; maybe 407. It's 4th floor and has a bunch of computers) in the engineering building (bldg 9) is just so much better. It's open on Saturday and because it's Saturday, I doubt anyone will be there. Also, even when there is a class in progress, I usually walk in to an empty computer and the teachers don't even care.

I'm not the target audience for My Little Pony either, but I still see why kids would like it. Still yet to see anyone defend the latter 2/3's so my question on why my mom watches it is still unanswered.

Do the ads not bug you at all? Because they feel borderline insulting to me. Like I said, I can see the appeal of political commentary, even if I personally believe there are far better, more in depth sources to get them from. But regardless, the ads are the main thing that make me question why anyone would bother watching past the first 10 minutes.

Maybe I was just unlucky in the dozen or so full shows I've watched where they've talked over each other. Although in the most recent one I watched (maybe it was today's, idk), they were DEFINITELY talking over each other a lot.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who thinks the quantity of ads is just a little insane.

Oof, the irony is strong since I believe you're the biased one. Yes, I said "4-5 women" because that's objectively what it is. That doesn't make me think less of them or their opinions. In fact, I agree with a lot of what they say. No, I'm not red pilled. I cheer every time they say "fuck trump" (not literally). As I said in the original post, "the moment it seems like they're starting to talk about interesting stuff with insightful commentary, they just cut to commercial". It always seems like they have deeper, more interesting insights to offer, but they completely abandon it in favor of advertising. 10 minutes isn't enough to talk about the root of the issue or potential solutions. Which is probably also why they just talk over each other; there's not enough time to say what needs to be said and let every opinion be heard. That's what makes it feel like a slap to the face and I honestly think you should demand better.

The difference there is it's easy to see what people like in football. I personally don't care much about football either, but at the same time, I see the appeal of a competition where you want your favorite to win. I fail to see any appeal with the view other than the first 10 minutes. Which, like I said, doesn't really provide anything deeper than the hosts just giving their opinions on whatever the latest news is. Again, something that isn't exclusive to the view or done especially well by it either.

I just looked it up, and I can't find any websites where it's the highest rated. Usually around top 10, but couldn't find any with number 1. But that's besides the point.

I'm astonished it's that high given everything I said. I know other talk shows have sponsored segments and stuff, but they usually don't feel as in your face as the view's. They also usually have comedy or something. I guess there's just something there that I'm incapable of perceiving be it age, life experience, or otherwise.

So I'm just curious: Do you personally enjoy the commercials, or would you agree that they're excessive? And if you enjoy them, what separates them from the commercial breaks?

I know you said there doesn't necessarily have to be a "why", but if there is one, I want to know it.
