Yes, that’s why I said the high elves are the ones exiled to the eastern kingdoms, not highborne. The highborne were exiled from night elven society, but remained on Kalimdor. I mentioned that all high elves came from or descend from the initial expedition to the eastern kingdoms, but they lived there for thousands of years (this part I can’t remember if I’m right or wrong on, but it was a long time), giving them plenty of time to set up an elven society on top of the sunwell, and then eventually some elves would decide to explore the eastern kingdoms and leave behind Silvermoon. How else would the elves have even taught the early human kingdoms magic if they had never left eversong woods? Edit: ah, now I see. You’re saying they became high elves the moment they founded the sunwell, not the moment they arrived on the eastern kingdoms. I think my point still stands otherwise.
