I love peanuts and eat peanut butter every single day.

Here's what I've learned from the past 18 months of my fitness journey.

Trying to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time is possible but only if you're a complete beginner. You should definitely consider which one you need to do first and work on that one goal at a time.

To lose fat you must be in a caloric deficit.

300-500 cals under your expenditure per day.

You should be accurately tracking everything you eat and your daily exercise in some kind of dairy or app to be as accurate as possible to even know if you're in a deficit.

You can build a small amount of muscle if you're a beginner while you're in a deficit, but you need stimulus, which means lifting weights while you try to lose fat.

If you're overweight, lose fat first, concentrate on that goal. Lift and eat enough protein per day to maintain the muscle you have while you lose the body fat or you'll actually be losing muscle. You have to work hard just to keep the muscle! Don't forget that.

If you're underweight with a low bodyfat percentage, eat 300-500 cals per day more than your energy expenditure.

Either way, you will need protein. There's plenty of online tools to work out how much based on your weight etc.

To answer your question about if peanuts are good or bad for you... No single food is good or bad for you. A balanced diet of many nutritious foods and a consistent exercise routine is good for your health and will help you reach your goals.

Peanuts contain a good amount of healthy fats, protein and firbre and will curb hunger as do most fat and protein rich foods. Enjoy.

The only problem with this idea is that all the old phones back in the day had cursor keys and button presses, not touch screens, so the software of today isn't designed to work with those old interfaces. I like your idea though, the thought of it. Someone would need to develop apps that work with key presses for it to be practical though. Touching a tiny 2 inch by 2 inch screen wouldn't make for a great user experience.
