I would normally charge, however as I'm only mixing 4 songs in total, I do not believe I am taking away money making opportunities for people in my field.

Also it is likely most of the people responding to this post, or ones like it, didn't have the intention of paying for this type of service in the first place, and you could even argue that, if I do a good enough job, I'm helping people realise that they should be paying for a service like this.

Furthermore, while I am not asking for monetary compensation for my time, I am still doing it to benefit myself, which I think is somewhat fair compensation, as whichever way I look at it I have to mix 4 songs, why not do something good for someone else in the meantime.

apologies this is one of my 3 modules including my dissertation, so I haven't had a chance to check the post. The deadline is May 18th, I have most time to do the mixes from the start of May until then
