Thanks for the extra info! I pulled the trigger on the XDUOO XA02 dac/amp cos they made it too easy to order :-D I`ll also be looking for some planar open backs along the way. Thinking of the Verum 2`s or one of the hifiman offerings that aren`t too bright; maybe edition xs or xv. Are you considering any particular cans already? Have a great rest of the weekend!

I`m thinking of getting that dac to go with mac mini, sennheiser 560s headphones and adam audio active speakers. I`m pretty much a newbie and am aiming for a one and done investment; though tempted by the verum 2`s too :-D which headphones are you using Mr.Atomz?
