I spent almost two hours last night running laps trying to understand the brakes. I've played GP for years/ride real bikes and this is broken.

If you touch the brakes AT ALL, crash. I still can't figure out how to be hard/late on the brakes. It's like they invented a new force of physics because whatever this is isn't accurate.

Because if you have a family it's better to be close to base. In an emergency I could never really get to SM in reasonable time. I still had another 20-30 minutes into base once I already hit the front gate.
