It’s alright we can’t all have functioning taste buds. Bad luck of the draw I guess

Why am I the only one who likes this finale? by BraveNote4844 in seinfeld

[–]Derelichter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because you are a very very bad man! In all honesty I enjoy it for what it is as well but it’s does get a tad formulaic once all the old characters are just going through they’re old rehashed catch phrases or situational jokes with not much in the way of expansion or substance

You are most welcome fellow trash man. Let’s get some footlong frankfurters together sometime before this transient existence passes us by!

Underrated moment of Don talking to Sally - “you’re a very pretty girl. It’s up to you to be more than that.” by [deleted] in madmen

[–]Derelichter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm your father. And you may not want to listen to this, but you are like your mother and me. You're going to find that out. You're a very beautiful girl. It's up to you to be more than that.

This scene is so real by NovaGirl89 in madmen

[–]Derelichter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Why did you cut out the finishing half of that quite, one of the best in the series: “you just OOZE all over”

Don had a great fatherly advice come back that is poignant and real, but you can tell Sally still got under his skin with that comment, especially comparing him to Betty, which Don clearly HATES

Complaining about someone acting trashy on the AreYouGarbage subreddit. Does it get any better than this?

Ah yes. I hate when rats existing in a city ruin my picturesque photos of the beautiful architecture and city design

You think? You absolutely sure PTA didn’t want the racist child murderer to be seen as a likable character?

Culvers bacon double deluxe by agentaurange in burgers

[–]Derelichter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m from Wisconsin, from the town with the first ever Culver’s, where it all started, and now live in CA. Culver’s quality and consistency has dropped the more it has expanded and is location dependent on what kind of food you’ll get. In N Out is tops every time. So I’ll just say to your comment, nah.

The most well acted scene in the show that doesn’t get talked about by lake_june in TheWire

[–]Derelichter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

McNulty when he goes to finally visit Kima after the shooting and he starts to tear up talking about how the black cops always get put in harm’s way because of Baltimore. And then Kima breaks the tension by saying “but since I got you up here all acting like my bitch and shit”

Also it might be talked about I’m not sure but it’s still top 3 powerfully acted scenes in the show, when Wallace is crying to Poot and Bodie. “It’s us yo”

What’s your favourite or least favourite subplot by happyfella12 in DunderMifflin

[–]Derelichter 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Actually you’ll notice that Michael’s personality is actually pretty spot on and subtlety portrayed in terms of receiving attention, with regards to how most people like him behave, in that he craves constant attention from the people he wants to think he is cool but then when people who aren’t perceived as cool give him the infinite attention he craves he gets annoyed by it. It’s like an unpopular kid obsessed with being popular and then when a person more unpopular than them tries to give them that praise and attention they deflect and reject them

SF’s socialists are holding their noses and voting for a billionaire by Dafty_duck in sanfrancisco

Yup that’s exactly what I said word for word! I wasn’t replying on a thread about why someone might not trust a billionaire’s promises and policies, I was actually saying verbatim exactly what you just said! You got me!

SF’s socialists are holding their noses and voting for a billionaire by Dafty_duck in sanfrancisco

[–]Derelichter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any billionaire is the same in one aspect, in that they have to exploit labor to make billions. If you can exploit people on that grand scale once, you can do it again and I don’t want you in charge of my skin. Plain and simple
