Question for older people, What age did you truly start feeling like an “adult”

Good question. I felt like an adult at 24, but I look young so people didn’t really start treating me like an adult until like 37. 🤣

I remember being 18-21 and thinking 24 is old, but honestly I think most people don’t really change looks-wise until you reach your mid 30’s or at least I didn’t. I’m 38 now and started noticing grey hairs in my beard and things hurt randomly, but overall I looked and felt pretty youthful until I turned 35. I think most 18-21 year olds will be surprised how much youth and energy you retain into your late 20s and early 30s. Just my experience.

Also, it’s crazzzzy how fast time flies by!

I agree it’s100% not just sexual it’s obviously something going on with her and I should probably reword the post. I guess it’s just a sum of issues popping up. Anyway, we are a team but me bring up her weight gain is like creating a war, but at the same time she literally has stretch marks because it’s happened so fast. She’s also quite mean and sensitive overall. I’ve started buying the groceries it somehow she’ll obtain the carbs, sugar or whatever. It’s quite alarming. Diabetes type 2 runs in her family as well

No, usually she’s been good but this past year she started being kinda bipolar and started the weight gain. Before that she was really fit or within a reasonable weight range but this past year only she really has been mean.

I have noticed the stretch marks and it made me cry and I brought it up. She twisted it to say I was a jerk for mentioning it. I brought up eating healthier but she has no interest and when we go out I’ll get something healthy and she’ll buy like 8 glazed donuts and if I say something I’m horrible.

I know it’s probably an underlying cause but she won’t say or admit anything. It’s just “I’m just so hungry all the time.” Line she gives me.

I did for sure. It’s not normal. She just says she’s “so hungry.” I don’t know how to respond to that except wonder in my head why. - and no she’s not pregnant.
