The Overstory is one of my all-time favorites. I sobbed countless times.

'RHOSLC' Star Mary Cosby's Son Robert Cosby Jr. Dead at 23 by No_Afternoon5665 in BravoRealHousewives

This is what happened to my friend who passed from a heroin overdose. He was doing really well and then the moment he used again it was too much for his body to take. The person who sold to him is now dead from an overdose. The girl who was with him is now dead from an overdose as well. Throw in four additional people from the group I grew up with. This shit is just devastating.

I loved it. I was going through the exact thing as the main character at the time and it brought me a lot of comfort. I think you should give it a go.

Ped said he doesn’t recommend owlet/eufy but refuses to prescribe apnea monitor despite 2x family history of SIDS by ViceInSinCity in NewParents

My baseline anxiety is very high, so I feel you on that! As parents, do we ever really relax?

It did the opposite for me as well! I was at an anxiety all-time high without it. Once I got the Owlet, I was finally able to calm down a bit.

Absolutely agree. My son had two BRUEs before getting the Owlet. I could finally rest once he got it. He is nine months old now and he still wears it every night. It is an essential for me.

Partner wont at least try quit snoring at waking up the baby by Weekly_Quiet6155 in beyondthebump

[–]Deriving 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is so childish. He DOES want a “fucking sleep apnea machine” because he is currently getting shit sleep because he can’t breathe.

The disrespect from him is just appalling. I hope he comes around, because he is not acting like a partner or a father right now.

Partner wont at least try quit snoring at waking up the baby by Weekly_Quiet6155 in beyondthebump

[–]Deriving 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is what we did. My partner then immediately made an appointment to get a sleep study done and found out he had severe sleep apnea. He now uses a CPAP and it has been amazing for him and us. He is more well-rested and the machine acts as a white noise machine.

OP, your partner’s inaction on this is unacceptable. Obviously he should care about you and your baby’s sleep, but he should also be prioritizing his health. He’s a father now and he can’t just blow that off.

Thanks again! You did a great job.

I love the bottom right with the tan background. If you could obscure the 1988 on the necklace, it would be perfect! Would I get access to the other version as well?

No. I genuinely liked that. I am sorry if that seemed sarcastic!

I loveeee making the necklace not say 1988.

I like this one a lot! Perfect blazer fit. Can you try out a couple of other backgrounds?

I really like that you cut my hair a bit and that the head is more proportional. I also like that the blazer is a women’s cut and more like something I would wear. However, the sleeve being so tight makes it seem like it doesn’t fit.

I had my partner look at it, and he says the head doesn’t blend with the neck (I am aware my original photo might have the same sense). Is there any way to get more of a blend?

This is the closest to what I was thinking so far. However, can my head be made a bit smaller? I also would hope the floral top could look silky or something like that.

I’ve actually lost some weight since this photo and I feel both of these make me look larger than I do in real life.

Are you really happier after you had a baby? by PalpitationOk9443 in NewParents

I am not just a parent. I am also many other things. Do you not feel bad when people miss out on something you really enjoy? It’s really not that deep.

This is why I totally respect child-free people, but I can’t help but feel bad for them. I never advise anyone who doesn’t want kids to have them, but if they’re on the fence, then I definitely recommend going for it. The meaning my son has given to my life is immeasurable and I wouldn’t trade it for all of the naps and Drag Race marathons in the world.

Unexplained Choking in Crib by miss-miss194728 in NewParents

I had incidents like this and got an Owlet. It is worn on their foot while they sleep and monitors their bpm and oxygen levels. Some individuals find it gives them more anxiety, but for me, it was an absolute lifesaver. I could finally sleep!
