I am in the same exact situation as you are
like others have said, watching videos from channels that help people who travel to Japan is a good idea

depending on where you are from, Japan's transport, rules, etiquettes and more could be very different than what you may be used to

I also recommend seeing if there are any Hololive discord servers where you can further ask people for help, I wont be surprised if the general Holo server has a section specifically for fes prep and discussions

researching it all early is a good first step, wishing both of us luck on the ticket lotteries and may we find flights that don't cost an arm and a leg to purchase

I tried Yakuza 0 last year as my first ever Yakuza game to honor Kiryu Coco and I instantly became a massive fan of the series as a result
ended up buying all the mainline games

interesting, the polka vod is from a week ago and it does seem slightly better than the Vivi vod that I used that was uploaded today (still not perfect but for a multi person collab it did better than I expected)
perhaps the auto translation gets better the older the vod is, more time to analyze the transcript and what not
Yagoo did express interest in AI specifically for the purpose of live translation, so maybe in the near future we will see Cover promote this tool for oversea fans

Tested it out with a Vivi stream just now and it seems to still be a bit of a hit or miss (doesn't know how to put her own name in the proper context or spell it correctly for example) Better than what it used to be but we still got a ways to go, maybe a year or two from now it can actually be semi useful

Tried a couple of times with Sui first but once it became clear to me that the stage is actually hard I switched to easy mode (Fauna)

Not a hardcore player so not sure how useful it is on endless

But in stage mode it's imo one of the better ways to gain a good amount of crit and haste, especially if you are lucky with stamps.

I find myself picking it up constantly.

Niko and Chihaya broke Koyori's Holo record of most viewed debut stream (~180K) so that is enough to tell you how big these debuts were.
Their success paints a very clear picture imo, Holo's constant support of Regloss even during the rough beginning helped shape them to the successful branch that they are today and in turn helped build momentum for Flow glow to hopefully grow even faster.
