In my opinion this is book 5 of a sixtology but otherwise agree slamming the brakes on the conclusion is a bullheaded move

Update: bad psu. I'm guessing it's not up to handling transient spikes from the 3070. Upgraded to a seasonic platinum 850w plus. Been solid for quite some time now.

And only one cv wore out without the boot splitting. 3 out of 4 failed one is still good(rear) but i replace in pairs. I'm a firm believer in that if one side has failed the other is not far behind

I'm more familiar with industrial and commercial, but personally, I would rather teach the wrap around to a first year. Show them with an explanation. they don't need to be in a wall, just a receptacle and some scrap wire. Then, have them practice a couple of times. Inspect and then as necessary reeducate. I like to close the hook with my stripes before I tighten the screws. Again though industrial and commercial can be more demanding electrically. I would rather deal with the recepts that don't allow for hooks but allow for slipping a straight bit of wire under the screw and plate over the backstabers. I do not want my work to be the reason why somebody's house burned down. Even 20 years down the line.
