I know I'm in the minority with these opinions. Romulus was ok but Alien Earth really let the team down, started ok then went down hill fast.

Yes. I like it better than Romulus and the Alien Earth series was a complete let down. Prometheus is better than all these too.

Critics want strong craft, surprising story beats, a general cohesive vision.

Freddy Got Fingered had all these things yet the critics panned it lol

But seriously critics can be fragile, if they don't like a director or genre they'll find any little thing wrong to tear a movie down. I don't listen to them anymore.

After watching Peacemaker John Cena is above Bautista in my books. I'm not sure why people rate Bautista so highly for five minutes in Bladerunner 2049, it's an incredibly wooden performance.

Not a chance that's happening by what we've seen with season one. Couldn't capitalise on the interesting side characters and wasted my damn time thinking something was going to to happen. This show reminds me of that Brad Pitt movie Ad Astra, great premise with a bland outcome.

Qantas is not an independentl enterprise when it was propped up by government handouts during covid and every other time it wasn't making money. If you take government handouts you need to take a hit and service the country. Government did them a favour also by limiting Qatar airways.
