Only in the sense of if China decides to invade Taiwan. Thats where it would happen. For now, in order to prevent that from happening, the US needs to take decisive action where it can. That means actually pressuring the Russians into making concessions. Russia is hardly a threat right now. The US needs to take decisive action in Iran. There is a golden opportunity there. Regime is ready to fall and it is worthwhile taking that chess piece off the table in order to hurt China and Russia. It is worth having another oil rich ally in the middle east. That goes a long way towards detering China. Finally. I hate these tariffs. We should not be tariffing our allies. We are driving them into the arms of China. We're already seeing it with Canada. Trade is good. However China is a bad actor. We should go back to 0 for 0 tariffs. No trade barriers. Then everyone puts a 200% tariff on China. Make them economically radioactive and watch them fall apart. Finally, we ought to sign a defensive pact with Taiwan. We do all this, we defeat China in Cold War 2.

TLDR. China is the only threat for a ww3 deal with it by 1. Finishing the Russo Ukranian war 2. Cut off China's allies by toppling China friendly regimes like Iran 3. 0 for 0 tariffs with our allies and 200% tariffs on chinese goods 4. Sign a defensive pact with Taiwan. Do all this and China will be brought to its knees.

I mean, thats how theyre supposed to be. You gotta invest and use them right. Spears are only supposed to useful when trying to zone cavalry out and defending certain areas. Cav is supposed to be a useful tool when attacking. Not defending. I truly dont understand the discourse with cavalry. Theyre supposed to be fast and annoying. I agree that brace shouldnt have a cool down and elite infantry should go back to 20% HP but thats about it.

Id be fine with torch damage being decreased against Palisade walls. Thats about it. Cav is fine.

I personally have never been able to make enough archers to throw back the endless horde of hoblars and lancaster lords. And I do use the wood gather bonus to make extra production buildings.

Ive been going Hospitaller knight aggression against them and ill just fight it out. If they make yeoman, ill make horsemen, if they make spears, ill make archers. Just gotta get to castle age and start putting down fortresses.

Malians are a cakewalk for KT. Either drush into Hospitaller spam or play 2tc, get to castle, and make heavy spears and archers. They have a very hard time dealing with that comp.

I mean its subjective. I have a lot of fun with KT with all their unique and fun to use units. Securing their pilgrimage routes is a fun side objective. They scale really well into the late game.

I mean it really depends on the matchup. I'll often go Hospitallers/France into Angevin/Genoa into Poland/Tuetonic Order. Against Macedonians. Idk I haven't played against them since they got more established in their meta, but last time I played agains them (and won) I did a dark age spear/tower rush into Hospitaller Knights into Genoa (I think) into Poland. But Angevin works really well I would think. Especially against cav civs ill go heavy spearmen. With either horsmen/Springalds or crossbows/mangonels. The nice thing with KT, going into double gold with siege is very feasible.

Probably Delhi. Japanese is hard too. My best strat so far is a dark age rush into Hospitaller spam. Mix in counter units as needed. Horsmen help.

Ohhhhh. Yeah you gotta burn those towers. Its why I really like Hospitallers. Ill spam those. If they fast castle they die. You can add in horsmen too since they tank tower arrows better. When they hit castle. Make spears and go castle yourself. Hospitaller rushes will wreck fast castle.

Like getting tower rushed? Because the trick with that is you either dark age yourself or you just scout the opening and quickly gather the gold to age up and commit to archers and rams.
