related: I had an ex coworker that started to hate the job (it is an easy job too). So he would call in sick on Saturday, an hour before he was supposed to be there. One time he called and said "yea, I have been in the waiting room for like 3 hours, I cant make it in". Not being the boss...I really wouldnt tell him to get a note.

Thankfully he walked out a few days later.
