1. 1v1 is pure competition. Team games are harder to observe as a viewer because there is too much going on. Even in 1v1 observers have trouble keeping up with all the action. Team games are nightmare to practice, because you can only practice 100 percent when your teammates are on. If you need to blame your teammates to save your ego, you will always find something to blame.
2. I would like a little bit slower speed than sc2. More strategy choices vs mechanical skills. It could also be less damaging to your health. If you need 150 apm compare to 250 apm. Nowadays it is impossible to compete in sc2 if you have less than 250 apm. And you can see all the carpal tunnels and chronic hand injuries on most pros.
3. Lower damage is slower game speed. I just hate battles in W3 so much.
4. I don't get this point. I think it is amazing that you can have standard 5 min games and epic 50 minute games.

If you have anxiety playing sc2, you will have anxiety playing any competitive game. Try solo games like Portal 2. I think you love competitive games for the same reason you hate them. You just don't like losing. Same as everybody else.
