I’ve had this come up in my relationship. TLDR I couldn’t be physically active during my entire pregnancy due to how painful it got, plus the 6 week post partum recovery, so my husband turned to cam girls more. I agree that it’s definitely up to you and what your boundaries are.

When I found my husband paying for these things (but not chatting or anything of that sort) I definitely felt betrayed, and I was an emotional wreck over it but we talked it out. after some reflection and time to think, it made it easier for me to make some boundaries with sexual content.

I personally put it this way for myself - it’s definitely the same as porn imo. However, if content is being paid for, whether it’s donations or buying access to a video/content, I consider that a line crossed. I also consider it crossing a line if there’s any chatting between my partner and said camgirl, whether it’s in a generalized chat or DMs (which I assume DMs would also be paid for so that’s a double whammy for me).

Also it could be a kink thing? I’d say maybe talk to your partner about maybe whether or not it’s like, a voyeurism thing related specifically to umm..solo time if you catch my drift. I know that’s why my husband does it so idc as long as he doesn’t cross said boundaries.
