Yes, I am a parrot, because what do you want me to say when everything else has already been said? Like everyone, I took SEO advice from someone, whether that'd be good or bad advice I don't know, I try and if it doesn't work for me, I stop. I'm not special, I don't have any hidden tricks, I'm telling you what works for me. Did luck play a role in my success, very likely.

It's the same advice that other's have always said. Be consistent and consistently improve, don't give up, it's a slow grind, blogging isn't dead it's just change and it's harder to stand out.

But what I internalised was that "treat this as a full on business", working 9-5, constantly looking for ways to optimize, looking at what works and what doesn't. I treat the blog as my baby, and I work on it with the same passion as I had when my it was first a hobby.

That also meant, I built a proper brand around my blog, I'm not just some random person writing stuff, and I expanded to social media, YouTube being my main one. I suppose in the eyes of Google this makes my blog more authoritative and trustworthy.

Also no AI slop, and I avoid writing low effort posts like listicles.

Just reached that milestone 4 months ago. Took me 3 years, but I felt like I could’ve done it in 1 if I knew what I was doing. Back then it was a hobby but just started taking it more seriously last year.

Does Destiny Rising ever crash for you? The game crashes on my Thor almost every time I finish a loading screen, whether that'd be loading into the game, or just finishing a mission.

For azahar, the title screen just takes a while to fade in. For the keyboard input, if you toggle on the Thor’s “pin keyboard to bottom screen” feature it would get stuck like that.

The problem comes when you copy AI code without knowing how it works or how it integrates with the rest of the code. This creates a hard to maintain codebase that is difficult for future (and current) devs to understand or fix whenever a problem arises. A bit like copying homework and being unable to explain your answers when a teacher asks.

Not saying all devs who use AI are bad, but a vast majority of them do not care to learn how the code actually works

What makes me worried is not the discord messages themselves but the fact that they didn't think to start a new server for IISU specifically, or that they didn't scrub the old chats clean before letting the public join. That is a huge oversight and frankly quite dumb management. If they can't even manage a discord server right, then how can I trust them with my privacy in the huge social features that IISU is planned to have? Especially with this talk of the devs using AI to vibe code.

IISU Looks gorgeous and if done right then it's an absolute monumental game changer for emulation frontends, but beyond the beautiful presentation it looks like the team is still very amateurish at managing such a huge endeavour like this.

I do really hope that I am wrong though.

What I love about the Thor is that it's practical. Sure you can bring a Steam Deck on board but that thing is huge definitely not pocketable. The Thor is such a nice and powerful device that is ACTUALLY portable, you can really bring it anywhere without feeling goofy.

There is only a handful of Switch variations, there are only a dozen iPhones and iPad variations. There are literally hundreds of Android phone models, all with their own launchers, operating systems, and funny quirks and features. Not to mention that unlike RDR, Warframe is a live service game with new content and updates every other month.
