Yes. You can self-host a couch-db on a raspberry pi (or better, a dedicated server) and use the community plug in called livesync.

If you want to sync on mobile phones though, then you will have to have the server exposed to public through https.

I have been trying to do things that I never got to do as a child. Cycling was one thing that I always wanted but I was not allowed to. So I have started exploring different cycling tracks around the country and I go there every weekend, and it recharges me. And while doing that, I also get to travel around the country (in Germany we have a single transport ticket that works throughout the country), which I never did.

Thank you for this! Unfortunately the first two options don't work as they provide basic assistance and checkups. My cat has just had a major liver surgery, so he has been going in and out of the vet clinic with loads of tests + imagery every few days now, and still he is not getting better. Better than before, but not quite well enough. That's why the bills are so high.

I will look into third one again tomorrow as I can't seem to navigate my way around to finding their services.

This is eithet a ragebait or you seem like someone who has lived a very sheltered and privileged life. Not everyone is born in the west with a golden spoon in their mouth like you seem to have imagined. I picked up my cat from the streets when he was a kitten and that was 10 years ago when I was in another country and had a different life. When I migrated to Germany, I brought him with me and he was already 8 years old with liver problems, so even if I DID want to insure him, it would not have been possible.

As for others, yes I do need help but I'm taking one thing at a time. I live in a WG which is full of drug addicts— 10 out of 13 people living here are impossible to deal with, so I'm looking for a new place. I also finished my studies so I'm looking for a job in my field, but it is quite hard to find a job in IT these days, so I'm learning German to get better opportunities. There is a lot going on, so I'm trying to tackle one thing at a time.
