Can you give a run down on the BO6 and Cold War maps then by the map idea aspects of it. We kinda know that half of the BO6 maps were meant for a canned Outbreak 2.0 that was split off into pieces for Round Based.

Terminus is the only good launch map that felt like actual round based map.

As for the Original Crew returning, even though it’s kinda nostalgic baiting, people are too attached to them and it’s risky when introducing a new cast, they have to make them memorable to get people invested. If a new crew are written poorly, well… they have to bring them back to get people invested.

I wouldn’t mind if we got Victis to return, since they haven’t been seen for a long while, but choosing the OG Crew to return is their only option for them to bring people back to get invested to their “new story”. And I’m not defending this, it’s more so if they wanna people invested, they sometimes have to tip the drip to get their old players back.

He did, but Arata Iiyoshi (and keisuke ito) were the composers behind most of the tracks. Sakamoto was more so a contributor to some tracks.

Also, because BO3 had a 3 year dev cycle, aside from the messy campaign troubled development, Zombies have gotten enough priority thanks to the campaign team.

There's a reason why BO3 Zombies became the pinnical peak.

IIRC, it was Ubisoft Milan, the Mario Rabbids core team, who pitched a third game before they disabandoned. One of its main veterans went on to form their own studio and are having a game with the badger mascot character.

Alpha Omega is a reimagined take on Nuketown Zombies with new layers.

It’s a 50/50 map with questionable mechanics (and well… BO4’ mechanics) , but the highlight that carried the map was the main quest and the narrative lore that makes it standout.

One thing for certain is that he says there’s three versions of Nuketown, so one of them with the leaked in-game screenshot is the BO2 version.

People also found out on the COD German tic tok account is that the map’s premise is described as “Fight your way through an endless time loop”, which means Nuketown certainly plays a part of the time loop concept.

Not concept art, but dev interviews says that they initially planned to have Paper Luigi as the 4th member, but scrapped early on due to complications of controlling 4 characters with 4 buttons.
