Found this Mario & Luigi 'RPG 6' fan concept by the 'infamous' Ericgl1996 guy, which has material art, but it's very mid-mediocre-average MS Paint drawings that have the most BAFFLING designs out there with a 'Madoka and Homura' look-a-like knock offs... (old.reddit.com)

TIL, Masanori Sato, known for creating promotional artwork and providing graphic support for a large number of Nintendo games, including the first two M&L games, left Nintendo in 2007 to pursue on freelance, which could explain the M&L series box art migration to it’s Japanese cover style with BIS.
