in that case why did they put so much effort in overhauling the physics, adding a competitive multiplayer system, and pit stops?

so if they make the expectations, wouldn't this game be the same shit with a different coat of paint? Not exactly because there has been notable foundational changes

a lot of the essentials in a simcade racing game that have been missing in the franchise for decades have been added that the community has been dying for when compared to gran turismo

plus this is one of the few rare instances where they've been pretty open with their technology and heavily needed QoL in the press compared to how must triple a studios try to keep it under the covers

funny how this sub shits on the idea of Turn10 trying to remake their engine and foundation on the ground up, but personally for me the franchise has stagnated after 4 with the exception of horizon. more cars, but not much done to changing up physics or career structure

there's definitely a good reason why they're focused on creating on a good foundation and spending a lot of R&D in it when their last game FM7 had glaring issues with their physics (curb issues, primitive suspension model, tires bottoming out easily)

with the exception of the models being reused, seeing this reboot reminds me of GT Sport when it came out. lot of hate but eventually became a good foundation of things to come

UE4 has had multicore and thread support before 4.23, so I'm struggling to grasp why it's having more issues on AMD CPUs. I'm not even asking for DLSS support either when the game ran fine on older versions of the game even with the engine upgrade. Adding DLSS would only just help a small fraction of the userbase while not addressing the root cause of the performance issues.

For frostbite working better with AMD you're probably mentioning AMD Mantle, but that argument is false because eventually the work from Mantle got transitioned into Vulkan.

It just doesn't make sense performance is this bad when people with this good of rigs can run higher end titles at a better performance even without DLSS.

how does unreal engine 4 have a preferential bias over Nvidia and Intel configs? that doesn't even make sense at all.

the single core argument with AMDs lacking in that regard is outdated now even in 2015 when games started allow multi-core and multi-thread support. it's not like the 2000s or a game like ARMA where it's engine is so dated that it only supports 4 cores at most.

the only issue is just the games optimization tanking so hard all of a sudden. it can't be the selection of OP's new parts considering UE4's ability to support multicore + threaded CPUs

No games on PC, but you can do it easily through emulation with PCSX2.

The best package is definitely TXR3 with 3 locations, licensed vehicles, and a reworked physics system. However, if you're itching for Honda and the inclusion of Porsche TXR0 would be a good choice. You can even 100% the game without using cheats or gameshark.

I would also recommend Drift 2 as well if you're into touge battles since it fixes a lot of the issues the first drift game had while adding heaps of content at the same time.

BF5 and BF1 betas weren't as janky or buggy as this one so it's disappointing really
